On April 24, 2026, YPCA hosted an online Mental Health Seminar focused on managing stress and anxiety. Led by Orhan Aslan, the session created a calm, welcoming space where young people could listen, learn, and reflect on the pressures that can build up in daily life.
The conversation explored how stress can affect our routines, our confidence, and the way we connect with other people. Participants spoke about common situations that can feel overwhelming and discussed practical ways to pause, reset, and take care of themselves during difficult moments.
One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was the Q&A session, where participants were able to bring forward thoughtful questions and hear different perspectives in a respectful setting. The discussion felt real, not rushed, and reminded everyone that mental health conversations do not need to be perfect to be helpful.
Thank you to everyone who joined, listened, and contributed to the conversation. Your presence helped make the seminar feel warm, thoughtful, and supportive. We hope the ideas shared during the session continue to encourage small moments of care, honesty, and strength.
