YPCA Chess Tournament

YPCA is bringing young professionals and chess enthusiasts together for a friendly Chess Tournament this October. Whether you are a regular player or simply enjoy the challenge of the game, this event is an opportunity to compete, connect, and spend an afternoon around the chessboard.

The tournament will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 12:30 PM at 116 Industry St, York, ON. Registration is $10 per player, with limited spots available.

Players will compete in timed games using chess clocks, adding an exciting competitive element to each match. At the end of the tournament, the winner will receive a $100 gift card as the top prize.

Every participant will also receive a certificate of participation, making the event a great opportunity to challenge yourself while meeting other people in the community.

Bring your best moves, invite a friend, and join YPCA for an afternoon of chess, competition, and community.
